Will there be more than student performances?
There is so much to do this year at Riverview's International Fair! There are activity booths showcasing different countries, and a petting zoo! There is also a silent auction, and a student ART AND STEAM Showcase in the MPR! Food and drink vendors will be selling a wide variety of foods including: fresh-made lemonade, coffee, and boba!
Pro-Tips:
- I-Fair weather may be hot and sunny! Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and water bottles are recommended!

- ART and STEAM Showcase in the MPR
What is International Fair?:
International Fair is Riverview International Academy's signature annual event! Known as the largest and most exciting multicultural event in East County San Diego, International Fair is open to the public with the goal of enriching the experience of Riverview's language immersion students and families. Riverview students and families are proud to celebrate multiculturalism with all community members with foods, vendors, and cultural performances by RIA students.
About RiA:
Riverview International Academy (RIA) is the only language immersion school in East County offering both Mandarin and Spanish immersion instruction. RIA is a TK–5th public elementary school located on two campuses in Lakeside, CA and sets the foundation for the triliteracy track offered by the Lakeside Union School District that ends in 12th grade at El Capitan High School.
The two campuses are TK–1st Winter Gardens Elementary and 2nd–5th Riverview Elementary.
The International Fair is sponsored and coordinated by the Riverview International Academy's PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association).
VOLUNTEERS:
No one does it alone! Successful PTSA committees include committee members and chairs from previous years to help train and guide new leaders. PTSA events and programs would not be possible without a constant flow of committed parents, family members, and community members who generously give their skills, dedication and time to ensure that every student has the opportunity for these memorable experiences.
Thank you to all our volunteers!
