We will be accepting performers live on Zoom,
AND pre-recorded videos that you will send in ahead of time.
The Talent Show will be broadcasted on Zoom
with the assistance of VIP School of Music.
All current Riverview International Academy K-5 students
are welcome to audition for the Talent Show!
Important Due Dates:
Please get on the Interest List <link> by January 7th.
This list determines length of students' acts and considerations for additional dates.
Official Talent Show submissions are due January 31st.
This will be treated like an audition. Be prepared to submit video of your student's act in costume; and/or submit picture of costume, music to be used including lyrics, and any scripts used. Submissions will be reviewed by a third party (non-PTSA). More info will follow.
Friends, family, and all RIA community are invited to tune in live to watch!
Audience members must register for the Zoom link by February 17th for the Talent Show.

Thank you for your interest in our first Virtual Talent Show! We are SO excited to host, in conjunction with VIP School of Music, a fun show with your students as our stars!! Our goal is to showcase our students' talents and give them all a place to SHINE. A virtual show has the unique capability to highlight talents that maybe wouldn't be possible in a live on-stage show, and we are looking forward to seeing what our students can do. Performances are open to anyone with a genuine desire to share their talent.
We received so many interest form submissions that we are looking at splitting the show up and hosting it over two nights! The second date is pending but currently we are looking at Friday, February 25th at 6pm for our second show. Once we receive everyone's first submission, we will be able to give more details on when your student will perform (or when their act will be played if pre-recorded).
January 31st - Initial Review (Recording and/or items listed below)
February 11th - Final Recordings Due
February 18th at 6pm - Talent Show and Opportunity Drawing for VIP School of Music scholarships
Our first due date starts the review process for submissions to ensure that all acts are approved and give time for edits to be made if needed. If you have your act video ready by this initial due date that would be preferable, so we have ample time to review all the acts since we have SO many. At the least, the following must be submitted to email@example.com on or before the due date:
- Song title, composer and lyrics or script
- Pictures of costume
- Student name and grade level of all students in act
All performances must be age appropriate and considerate to all cultures and beliefs.
Act should be no longer than 1.5 mins start to finish.
For LIVE performances: Guardian MUST be present during performance.
